Week of 4/20/20 – Blog Post 0062: Canada’s worse mass shooting in history.

I won’t have too much to say about this except it can happen anywhere.

A mass-murder isn’t always on your mind. When you leave your house, you really can’t be thinking about whether you will be shot in such an event. I admit, I sometimes get upset and spout out that it should always be on our minds but that isn’t realistic – we could not function if that was how we lived.

There are some places, like Canada, that don’t think about it as much as others because it doesn’t happen that often in that country. And they have the United States right below them – where it seems to happen a lot – so they are just thankful that they aren’t the U.S.

We can go over politics, educational systems, wealth of the national product in each place and the list goes on.

The truth, though, is that there is a common denominator: People who kill other people had parents.

If people would be raised NOT to kill other people (in other words – raised right), we wouldn’t have to read about these things happening . . . regardless of what country they happen in!
