This isn’t a throwaway. I usually post bad stuff to bring the problems of the world into focus for us but today I want to point out a good thing (which also has a bad point to be made).
The video highlights a Jimmy Kimmel bit. I like Jimmy. Yes, he’s sort of a goofball BUT he can be very serious about things. He decided to highlight some children who he asked, “Why women get paid less than men?”
This particular video happens to be from a few years ago but the purpose is served because it was Women’s Day yesterday. Not all of the children were the shining light of entertainment but here’s my point: WOMEN ARE UNDER-APPRECIATED!
I know we all say that but let’s start to make it count! When a father doesn’t help raise a child, let’s make sure our Blame and Punish doctrine is in place so fathers can start to suffer the consequences of their children not being raised right!
LET’S FACE IT: Most mothers not only carry the baby, go through labor to have the baby, do most of the raising of the child, have to take care of the house AND THE HUSBAND, and many have to keep an outside job to make ends meet!!!
SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THAT LAST PARAGRAPH!
Like I said, I know we all know this but I wanted to bring it up again to show the pressure that the moms are under to try and raise good children . . . often without the help they should be getting without the father.
HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean they get a break! They SHOULDN’T have married the wrong as*h*le in the first place!!!
